DYCO Essentials Refill Program

Update: 2/20/26: Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we are currently out of funding and no longer accepting requests. We will re-open the requests in June 2026.

Our Basic Needs Program helps support families through hard times with helping families meet basic needs. Each household can submit one request for help per month. 2 families per month will be chosen to receive a kit.

Choose from: 
• Hygiene Bundle: may include- hygiene items, toiletries, pads/tampons, lotion, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc.
• Cleaning Supplies Bundle: may include- multipurpose cleaner, laundry soap, dish soap, trash bags, etc.
• Baby Essentials Bundle: may include- small pack of diapers + a pack of wipes, diaper rash cream, body • • Bill Pay Program: Eligible households may receive up to $100 in utility bill assistance, subject to available funding.

Note: When resources allow, DYCO may extend support to families outside our priority neighborhoods, with preference always given to families within Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury, and Jamaica Plain.
